As the new year begins, Mrs. Bernfield has sadly been diagnosed with Brain Cancer. With this transition the school has found the perfect match, to take over Bernfield’s class. Michelle Pass worked at White Oak and got the information about the teacher that needed some help, and decided to step in, “I had the opportunity, I had the time, and who would say no to Mrs. Bernfield?” said Mrs. Pass. Through all the mental struggles for Mrs. Bernfield she was by Mrs. Pass’s side and is getting used to her teaching style. “ I have never taught, but I’m ready as I would ever be.”
