IBEW Local Union 531 is working on the Dunns Bridge Solar project in Jasper County (Rensselaer area). They are looking for 200-250 additional people to help with this project, particularly graduating seniors who maybe aren't sure what their plan is going to be yet, former students, anyone in need of work! You do not need to have any experience in electrical work because you are going to assist the electricians with whatever they need you to do. Job duties will include, but not limited to: material handling, assembly of solar panel posts and brackets, installing solar panels, and general labor. If hired, you would actually become a member of IBEW 531 and would earn health benefits, competitive wages, raises, pensions, etc! To work, you must be 18 or older, enjoy being outdoors, pass a drug test (and stay in a random pool), and have reliable transportation. 17-year-old seniors can apply if they will be 18 by the time of graduation/start date. For more info, check your Class of 2021 announcements. You can learn more and apply online at ibewlocal531.org/solar

Don't miss out!!! Also remember that all Local Scholarships are due the first Friday in February (February 5th).
