Jaxton Craig Plays in Dream All-American Bowl

Jaxton Craig, incoming freshmen, had the opportunity to play in the Dream All-American Bowl at the AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, last weekend.  This was a three-day event in Arlington/Dallas Texas.  Friday June 10th, check in and media time as well as a National College Showcase.  He spent three hours out in 105+ degree heat working with college coaches and former NFL players.  Saturday June 11th, 6 hours of practice at the University of Texas in 107+degree heat with his teammates who he met on Friday and then Saturday evening attended a recognition ceremony.  Sunday June 12th, played in the All-American game in the Cowboys Stadium.

Jaxton played on Team Stars with Head Coach DiAndre Campbell, former NFL wide receiver.  It was such an honor for him to play on a team where no one was yet known and had to earn every minute of play time.  He earned the starting offensive line right guard position as well as a spot on the kickoff return and punt return teams.  He was put in as tackle on the defensive line within the first quarter of the game.  The boys were picked specifically for either offense or defense.  It was a huge honor to get to play both sides of the ball.  He represented Twin Lakes well and we are so proud of him!!
