Juniors do you want to get more engaged in government and your community?

Indiana electric cooperatives are accepting applications from Indiana high school juniors (class of 2023) for the 2022 Indiana Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington D.C.

The Indiana Youth Tour to Washington D.C. provides young adults with the opportunity to travel to our nation’s capital to learn more about how government functions and the complexities of today’s electric utility industry, and to meet peers from around the country.

The trip is June 16-23, 2022. This is an all-inclusive trip including travel, meals, lodging, and activities. Students selected for the trip will have the opportunity to compete for college scholarship opportunities by applying for the Youth Leadership Council.

Trip highlights include a visit to Gettysburg, Washington monument and museum tours, Potomac River cruise, meetings on Capitol Hill with Indiana’s congressional delegation, the opportunity to make lifelong friends and much more. This is really the trip of a lifetime.
