Sophomores continue tradition of reading Animal Farm

Madalyn Alexander, Staff

In Mrs. King’s English 10 classes, the sophomores are starting to read a new book. Animal Farm by George Orwell is a book about a group of farm animals who revolt against their owners in hopes of creating a perfect society where they can all be treated equally. The sophomores are eager to continue to read the book and so far most of them are enjoying it. Sophomore Mackenize Biddle told me, “I like how the animals rebelled against the humans.” “I like the meaning behind the characters.” Sophomore Faith Turner responded to my question. Needless to say, most of the sophomores in Mrs. King’s class are excited to be reading Animal Farm.
