Mr. Massura and Mrs. Gilford are hosting Astronomy in the Park! The events are going to be partnered up with the “Monticello Parks Department” to give everyone the opportunity to see the wonders of the night sky. They will have telescopes available for everyone to have a chance to observe a variety of space objects including: the Moon; the planets Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn; constellations; and much more! The dates for the events are going to be, Monday, September 13 at 8:30 PM and Tuesday, October 5 at 8:15 PM at Voigt Park in the south parking lot. Everyone is welcome! In case of any inclement weather, the “Monticello Parks Department” Facebook page will have updates regarding the event.
