Over the past two weeks BPA members earned their way to the nationals through Regional and State Leadership Conferences. They competed in over one hundred (100) competitive events with the chance of earning hundreds of industry certifications (through Certiport, Precision Exams, and TestOut). Despite the crazy year they were also able to engage with fellow members through a wide variety of virtual leadership workshops!

Congratulations to the following BPA members who competed this month at Nationals. They competed against over 6,000 attendees from all over the United States (and China) at the 2021 Virtual National Leadership Conference.

Both of our BPA team events were just shy of making the top 10. Podcast Team made up of Haley Beach, Noah Johnston, Madi Moseley, and Derek Overmyer, placed 14th in the nation! Network Design Team made up of Richard Davis, Colby Koppelmann, Akina Lindley, and Griffin McAtee placed 12th! 

Our Virtual Multimedia Promotion Team made up of Ean Bowsman, Emma Need, Evan Vogel and Oliver Wright finished 32nd.

Qualifiers for individual events were:

24th place – Computer Security – Griffin McAtee

22nd place – Linux Operating System – Richard Davis

42nd place – Linux Operating System – Akina Lindley

22nd place – Desktop Publishing – Grace Marocco

33rd place (Top 10% out of 415 competitors) – Promotional Photography – Haley Beach

41st place (Top 10% out of 415 competitors) – Promotional Photography – Madi Moseley

We have some very talented students at Twin Lakes and we are extremely proud of them and excited to see what they can accomplish next year!
