Sydney McCall is a senior and one of her favorite hobbies is fishing. Sydney mainly fishes by Bluewater, Oakdale, and Lake Freeman. Her favorite part of fishing is actually catching the fish, but she also likes waiting and talking to whoever she went with. Her favorite bait to use is Texas rig, which is a type of worm with a hook. She also likes to use a rooster tail from time to time. Her favorite fish to catch is large-mouth bass, but usually she catches Crappie. During the summer she went almost everyday with multiple different friends. When asked why she likes fishing, Sydney said, “I like the thrill of catching a fish and it’s very relaxing.”
