Not only is it Mr. Vang’s first year at Twin Lakes, but also his first year teaching. Mr. Vang is immensely pleased with his time at Twin Lakes thus far, and has enjoyed the presence of his new students. Vang went on to say, “my favorite moments have been the times where I’m teaching and something finally clicks with a student, when I guide them just slightly and they can finally say “I get it now”.” Vang has always been interested in subjects like chemistry, biology and any of the other sciences, and continues to be amazed at what we can learn from new technology. Mr. Vang said the hardest part about being a teacher is lesson planning, and finding a good way to interact with the students, especially due to the virus.
