During these hard times, a lot of people are stuck at home. This can get quite boring and
you may become stir crazy. Everyone hears that the best thing to do is to get outside, and be
active. While this is completely true, it can be easier said than done. Without really being
allowed to be with other people, you can’t really go out and play a basketball game or throw a
football around with some buddies. That’s where most people run into the problem. Doing
something by yourself outside can be just as boring as doing something inside by yourself. With
all that being said, there is still one way you can safely get together outside and have fun with
your friends. That would be golf.
Although you are with other people playing golf, the governor and the Indiana Golf
Association have come together to put together a set of rules, and deemed that if following
those rules golf is as safe as doing anything else. You can still play a fun round in your own cart
and stay 6 feet away from one another. It does not require you to touch anyone or anyone else’s
belongings. The best part of it all is that you do not even have to be good to play the sport.
Everyone who goes out and plays for fun always has a great time. There are no expectations at
all on the golf course, especially if you are new to the game, because everyone has been a
beginner at golf. Everyone on the golf course is also welcoming because once you become a
golfer, you want more and more people to pick up the sport, so they can enjoy it just as much as
they do. This is the perfect time to pick up a new hobby, and to enjoy your corona days on the
golf course!
