Akina Lindley has won an Indiana Aspirations in Computing Award for 2019-20.  Lindley is an accomplished artist as well as talented in the area of computer science. This marks the fourth year in a row that TLHS has had an AiC award winner. Altogether, we have now produced 8 Indiana award winners, 1 National Honorable Mention Award winner and 1 Indiana Educator of the Year. Great things are continuing to happen here at TL and you’re all a huge part of the reason why.

The awards are sponsored by NCWIT (National Center for Women in Technology). Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. Congratulations Akina!
