Last Friday was the Veterans day program. It was a great event to revere our veterans.  The band played the theme for each branch of the military and the choir sang “For Spacious Skies”. Bill Smock, a renowned veteran, spoke at the program about his time in the military. It gave insight to how life in the military is like. He also told of his water painting and how popular they were.

The AP Government class went and talked for the event and explained the importance and origin of Veterans day. During the band playing the themes for each branch of the military the AP Gov students held signs to label which branch each song was for. At the end of the program two of the trumpet players, Max Yoder(Senior) and Macy Green(Sophomore), played tapes to commemorate fallen soldiers.
