Yahir Lopez is a sophomore at Twin Lakes High School. Lopez joined yearbook because he thought it would be a fun and friendly experience. He swims and plays soccer. When outside of school Lopez likes to ride his bike to the city park. His greatest academic achievement is he got the Certificate of Excellence in 7th and 8th grade. “Made me feel more accomplished,” Sophomore Yahir Lopez said, “and motivated for the coming years.”  After he graduates, Lopez wants to go to college for an undecided major. He currently works at Indiana Beach as a vendor at the Yacht Club. Lopez enjoys listening to spanish music because he likes the variety of instruments that they use. History class is Lopez’s greatest academic weakness, he finds it hard to focus unless the subject is about war. He does not work well under pressure because he finds it hard to think and work effectively. Lopez joined PULSE club last year and is planning on taking it again this school year. He considers himself a cat due to the fact that he can work well by himself without relying on others. Lopez wants to improve his grades to get into a good college and have a good job.
