Why did you become a teacher?

-I became an English teacher because I loved literature and writing; I stayed in education because I love kids.

What do you like most about teaching?

-Watching kids as they become who they’re meant to be

How long have you been teaching and how long at Twin Lakes?

-5 years in the classroom; 32 as a counselor. All at Twin Lakes.

What does your perfect weekend look like?

-A day on the water (pontoon, kayak) with family and friends and Elphie

-Reading

-I love sooo many kinds of music and artists.

Any Fun Facts about you?

-I’m a 5-time (and counting!) cancer survivor. I don’t know if that’s fun, but I’m pretty happy about it. 🙂
